MIXING PATTERN & TEXTURE

Happy Friday!
Yesterday was time for a bold outfit. I went to an event with friends. I decided to wear textured gold pants. They are rough to the touch but smooth on the inside, which makes them super comfy. l love to wear metallics and, in December, with many events coming up, metallics add a festive and stylish touch to your look.

I matched with a flower printed blouse. By mixing pattern and texture you give visual interest to your outfit.
My completor piece is a pink scarf, to give a more dressy style with the right amount of coverage for the chilly evening.
Break the rules and mix patterns and textures, but always try to assemble your look based on the same color palette. For example color of my trousers is gold and black, so I chose a printed top that has black and other colors like bronze, pink…that match great with the gold.
Remember that metallics are neutrals and go great with almost everything and help to take your whole look to the next level.

¡Feliz viernes!

Mi look de ayer consistió en una opción muy brillante. Asistí a un evento con buenas amigas, para el cual decidí llevar pantalones dorados. Son de una tela un tanto rígida y rugosa al tacto, pero en realidad se sienten muy suaves en su interior, lo cual los hace súper cómodos.

Soy amante de los tonos metalicos y, diciembre, cuando se tienen muchas fiestas y eventos, son excelente opción porque agregan estilo y ese toque festivo a tu look.

Combiné mis pantalones con una linda blusa con estampado floral. Al mezclar estampado y textura añades interes visual a tu conjunto. Mi pieza para completar el equipo fue una ligera bufanda o pashmina en rosa, para un estilo mas chic y para estar mas abrigada para estas frias tardes.

Rompe las reglas y combina estampado y textura, pero siempre trata de crear el look basandote en la misma paleta de colores. Por ejemplo, en mis pantalones se percibe una mezcla de dorado y negro, por lo tanto elegí una blusa que tiene negro, bronce, rosa…tonalidades que van muy bien con el dorado.

Recuerda que los metálicos son neutros y lucen bien con casi todo, ademas de que llevan tu look a otro nivel. 🙂
