2 Ways To Wear A Faux Fur Coat

Winter at the fullest! Brr! During fall, the days were warm, for the most part, and suddenly right as winter officially started, the temperatures started to drop in San Diego. So I looked into my winter wardrobe to find all those cozy pieces to build chic and cute winter outfits.

One of my favorites is definitely a faux fur coat, such a versatile winter basic that can be styled multiple ways adding a fun and glam component to your winter outfits. And obviously, it keeps you warm, the best part. For that reason, I want to share with you two easy ways to wear a faux fur coat or jacket.

LADY LIKE: I am wearing this winter basic paired with a plaid dress, a pattern that’s still on-trend and looks so pretty. You can certainly wear the dress that you like, the one that makes you feel comfortable, but keep in mind that this kind of coat adds volume. So in order to maintain a balance, I suggest that you wear a dress that fits tight or not too lose.

You can complement your look with boots, just like I did. I am wearing a snake print pair of boots. This print is also a season favorite.

CASUAL CHIC: This style is simple yet glamorous. Winter is the time to take advantage of your over-the-knee boots. I consider myself a boots lover. So when the cold season starts, I try to wear my long boots as much as I can. You can wear a crossbody mini bag, and if you are wearing solid colors, a printed or colorful bag will look so cool. If it’s snowing or it’s super cold, consider wearing earmuffs. They will not only keep your ears warm, but they will also make you look chic and winter-appropriate.
