Fall vibes are still in the air, right? But since the temperatures are starting to drop, and winter is almost ready to show up, I dug into my wardrobe to start organizing my cold day outfits. Plaid, tartan, check or gingham garments are a fall go-to. For me, there’s no better season to rock plaid outfits than fall-winter. So I styled my plaid dress for a preppy fall feel. It was a cold day but with boots and a faux fur coat I was ready and bundled up enough.
Notice how with a staple plaid garment you can give personality to your look. I love how this dress adds an air of class and when paired with this coat it gives a touch of glam and sophistication to this preppy fall outfit. You can style this look with loafers, flats, or pumps but to look chic and more ladylike. I chose boots, as they add a more modern effect. ¡Seguimos con las vibras otoñales! Sin embargo, a pesar de que en San Diego el clima no tiende a ser muy frio, ya se comienza a sentir el invierno y definitivamente se requiere estar bien abrigado. Así que me he dado a la tarea de limpiar mi clóset e ir en busca de aquellas prendas apropiadas para la temporada de frio.
Las de tartan, cuadros, gingham o como quieras llamarle son un must de temporada y lucen muy apropiadas durante el Otoño. Asi que mi elección para esta ocasión fue un vestido de tartán el cual tiene un estilo preppy, pero al combinarlo con botas y un abrigo de pelos le he dado un toque de glamour al conjunto entero. Ambas piezas son aliadas para dar ese aspecto mas sofisticado y chic. Ademas de ser una buena elección para estar lo suficientemente abrigada.
Este vestido va muy bien con loafers, flats o tacones pero siento que con las botas luce mas moderno. Ademas es una prenda atemporal ya que lo puedes lucir perfectmante durante primavera-verano asi solo y durante otoño- invierno, solo le agregas capas y ¡listo!
