I spent the night in this modern and luxurious hotel boutique. You can’t imagine how much I loved it and realized that it had been highly needed. After days, well, more like weeks, full of work, I enjoyed my staycation to the fullest in this charming property. Even though I spent the majority of my time documenting my experience to share with all of you, it didn’t stop me from relaxing and enjoying every single minute of it. I actually found a lot of pleasure in working and admiring such a painting-like and totally breathtaking view from my room and the patio at the same time. I wish I could have stayed longer in this perfectly peaceful atmosphere.

My room was so amazing. Just picture the comfort of opening the curtains in the morning and being able to immediately admire the ocean view right in front of your eyes. And when the sun begins to sink into the horizon, the sunsets look like they just came out of a painting, superb! For me, that puts the cherry on top of everything. One of the first things I do when checking into a hotel room is seeing the view from it. Ocean views are the absolute best! I easily fall in love with the pleasing panorama from my private balcony, where I can spend hours admiring and truly never get tired of it. The room was spacious, modern with chic furniture, and giving off the best vibes. It has the perfect balance of minimalism, sophistication and clean design.

And once I laid on the bed, I was quite stunned by the softness and comfiness of it. I felt like Sleeping Beauty because once I closed my eyes, I didn’t open them until the next morning, which usually doesn’t happen since I am such a light sleeper. It was completely silent, the kind of silence that is key for great and recovering sleep.

Well, I don’t really want to jump into my morning just yet because I have to let you guys know about the tasty dinner I got at the hotel restaurant, JRDN. I enjoyed a delicious meal with great company. The place is so delightful with the atmosphere and the pure freshness of the dishes we ordered. We started with some Fried Calamari, followed by a half Maine lobster for me, and a Prime Ribeye and Prime Skirt Steak for my companions. You know great cocktails from the bar couldn’t be missing. And we certainly couldn’t forget about delicious dessert as the big finale. The chocolate Futomaki was extraordinary. I highly recommend this unique chocolate sushi roll, it’s a delight for the sweet lovers just like me!

The all in all experience was excellent. JRDN has an extensive and yummy menu, including seafood, meat, and vegetarian options. All made with super fresh and seasonal ingredients.

It was the perfect way to wrap up my day and end the night! After this, I was so ready to go to sleep.

I need to emphasize how friendly the Tower23 staff is, they all had contagious smiles and they were very courteous and understanding at all time. Believe it or not, good service always helps in making your stay even better, that is why it’s essential to consider it, whenever you are looking for the perfect place to stay and this property is very good on that!

In the morning I ordered some room service breakfast, and if I haven’t said enough about the view, it simply made my morning! I just took a shower and since I had some work to do I spent the last few hours working on the cute deck. I was so grateful to have that space as my office for the day. This area has some great modern blue decor and the emphasized beach vibes and cool breeze from this peaceful spot are quite amazing. You can relax at any time of the day, even get a great tan or how does simply having a refreshing cocktail or wine while enjoying the view and ocean sound? And to make the most out of these moments during the chilly and cold fall-winter days, you can sit next to the fire pit or heaters.

Just picture the comfort of opening the curtains in the morning and being able to immediately admire the ocean view right in front of your eyes.

The hotel doesn’t have a pool but guys, if you need a refreshing splash remember that you have the ocean just a few steps away from you!

I really wish my time here had been longer to get the chance to enjoy a walk on the beach or ride a bike towards the Pier, which by the way is divine! Without a doubt, this place is a must to visit while in the area. Pacific Beach is well known for its wonderful and unique beach life. Tower23 even provides you with bikes to ride around and even surfboards to catch some waves. All of this, making your adventure the best it can be.
