First of all I just want to wish a happy Mother’s day to all the moms that are celebrating today. I don’t know exactly where you are reading, but if you are from Mexico, El Salvador, India, Singapur, Pakistan,…Congratulations! (sorry for all the places that I didn’t mention) As a latina mother, I have the mexican tradition on may 10th. So lucky me, because I celebrate twice, May 10th, and this year, in the US, May 14th! All my love for all the wonderful mothers out there, and don’t forget to check out my gift guide in case you missed it.
Well, now let’s talk about today’s look, I chose a pretty off the shoulder top in one of the colors of the season, YELLOW! This lemon color really brings me life, a bright and happy shade that enhances any outfit even on a gloomy day. Wearing this color close to your face totally illuminates your complexions, making you look young and energetic. It’s a piece full of femininity, not only because it’s an off-the-shoulder neckline, the plus is the pom pom details at the hem. When I saw those cute elements that hang on the hem, I immediately fell in love with this flirty and sexy garment. I paired it with gray ripped jeans, because yellow + gray is one of my favorite color combo, love the contrast and balance that result of this match. You can perfectly match this top with white, black jeans or trouser. I also love how it looks when pairing with blue jeans.
The shooting took place at the Heart of Downtown. I had a nice walk in the historical neighborhood in San Diego called The Gaslamp Quarter, a beautiful district, surrounded with restaurants and night life venues. Hola! espero estés disfrutando de un día un maravilloso.
Primero que nada quiero desear un muy feliz día de las madres a todas aquellas mamis que celebran el día de hoy. No sé exactamente de dónde me leas pero si eres de México, El Salvador, India, Singapur, ¡Felicidades! (una disculpa por todos los lugares que no he mencionado) Como madre latina tengo la tradición mexicana de celebrar el 10 de mayo. Así que soy suertuda porque celebro doble, en mayo 10 y este año en Estados Unidos mayo 14. Mando todo mi amor para aquellas madres maravillosas y no olvides checar mi guía de regalos en caso de que no la hayas visto.
Bueno, hablemos del look del día de hoy. Elegí esta linda blusa en uno de los colores de la temporada: ¡amarillo! este lindo tono que da vida, un tono brillante que resalta cualquier outfit, aún en dias nublados. Llevando este color cerca del rostro, lo iluminas, pruebalo y verás que luciras más joven y con mucha vitalidad y energía. Esta blusa es muy femenina no solo por su escote por debajo de los hombros, el plus es el detalle en el dobladillo, los pompones que cuelgan son unos lindos elementos. La combine con un par de jeans grises porque el amarillo con gris es una de mis combinaciones favoritas. Amo el contraste y balance que resulta de esta mezcla. Puedes perfectamente llevar esta blusa con pantalones blancos o negros. También me encanta como luce con jeans azules.
La sesión de fotos se llevó acabo en el corazón del centro de San Diego, disfrute de un agradable paseo por el histórico vecindario llamado Gaslamp Quarter, un distrito hermoso rodeado de restaurantes y lugares con gran vida nocturna. Es por esto que amo San Diego, CA, porque es un lugar lleno de bonitos lugares para visitar.
