How to Style a Safari Jacket // Polished to Casual

Hope you’re having a fabulous and productive week.One of the best things about a garment is when you realize how versatile it really is, that way, you’re always taking advantage of it and every penny you spent on it will be worth. So, girls, it’s all about smart styling! But, how to achieve that? don’t worry, it’s simple. You can grab your main or focal piece, lay it down, so you can see it clearly, and start playing around it. You will be surprised of all of the possible combinations and cute spring outfits you can create around one piece. Turning it up or down according to the occasion. Either casual for the day or more polished for an evening or night-out occasion. I just bought a chic and unique safari jacket, I really love this one, because of its cute cut and design. The safari look with those military vibes that make this piece so different. This garment is very easy to style for any time of the day, you just need to incorporate appropriate complements to it and mix it with smarter looking clothes. Keep in mind that the safari jacket is one of the fashion trends 2018 and without a doubt, lightweight women’s jackets are perfect to rock during spring-summer season. So on that note, I would like to share 2 different ways to style this piece.
Two Different Ways to Style a Safari Jacket for Spring Outfits.
Evening plans? You can pair this figure-flattering garment with a feminine dress, tailored trousers or your favorite skirt. And one of the best and easiest ways to dress your jacket up is by wearing heels. I chose pointy because they are my favorite style! I paired my safari jacket with all black in order to look stylish and chic for the occasion. I went to a cocktail on a great rooftop in downtown San Diego. I decided to belt the jacket to give it a twist and accentuate the waistline creating a slimmer yet sexy look. And I can’t forget my go-to cat eyes sunnies for the sunny evening!
And for a lovely sunny day, I choose a light spring color palette. Shorts were my choice to create a casual look with chic touches for my activities during that day. The weather is warm, but the wind is kind of chilly so my jacket was the perfect layer. An unconventional safari jacket with epaulets, and so many details on the cuffs and on the front, that elevate this piece. I layered it over a feminine top and check out how the espadrilles give the entire look a casual, yet, and air of classic style and femininity. These kinds of shoe-wear are a great option to wear during the season.

Lo mejor acerca de una prenda es cuando te das cuenta lo versatil que puede ser. Es un hecho que cada centavo que hayas pagado por ella valdrá la pena, cuando le sacas el mayor provecho. Asi que chicas, se trata de crear looks y conjuntos de manera inteligente. Pero seguramente algunas se preguntaran ¿Como poder lograrlo? Es muy sencillo, pueden comenzar por poner ya sea en la cama, en el piso o donde prefieran la prenda central o focal y empezar a jugar en torno a ella. Se sorprenderan de las multiples y lindas combinaciones que se formarán alredeor de una sola pieza. Puedes hacerla lucir casual o muy sofisticada de acuerdo a la ocasión. Ya sea un estilo muy casual para el dia y uno mas pulido para la noche o cuando la situacion lo requiera.
Acabo de adquirir una chamarra estilo safari, me encanto su diseño y corte. Esta chamarra ademas cuenta con una vibra estilo militar, la cual le da ese toque diferente. Es un pieza muy facil de llevar a cualquier hora del dia, solo será necesario incorporar los complementos adecuados para hacerla lucir siempre con estilo. Tengan presente que las chamarras estilo safari continuan en tendencia durante la temporada 2018. Asi que en esta ocasion quiero compartir dos diferentes maneras de poder llevar esta singular prenda.
¿Planes por la tarde o noche? puedes llevarla ya sea con un lindo vestido primaveral, unos pantalones estructurados o tu falda favorita. Y sin duda una de las maneras mas faciles de realzar y transformar tu look es incorporando unos maravillosos tacones. Yo me incline por unos zapatos de punta, este estilo es uno de mis favoritos y para crear contraste decidi vestir toda de negro. Fue una buena elección para un cocktail al que asisti ese dia en una bonita terraza, en el centro de la cuidad. Chequen como la chamarra capta toda la atención y al llevarla con un cinturon se le da un buen toque que ayuda a definir la cintura, creando una silueta un poco mas estilizada y sexy. ¿No creen? Ah! y casi me olvido de mencionar mis lentes ojo de gato, “el accesorio” para esa tarde soleada.
Y para el segundo look, en una mañana de primavera, me incline por una paleta en tonos neutros. Unos shorts fueron mi eleccion para crear un look casual pero eso si, con ese toque chic! El clima esta caluroso pero el viento se siente fresco, por lo que esta chamarra ligera funciona perfecto. quiero que no pierdan de vista los detalles que lleva tanto en los hombros, como en los puños y esa original flor al frente, todos estos detalles en conjunto elevan esta pieza. Como calzado, unos espadriles para dar ese aire casual pero clasico y femenino a la vez. Tanto los espadriles como los wedges son una buena opcion para llevar durante la temporada.
