The countdown for the official beginning of spring is starting, 10, 9, 8, 7… It’s hot, it’s cold, and the next day it’s hot again, it’s like the weather is adjusting to the season. And it’s time to start putting all of those heavy layers away and start wearing transitional outfits because you need to get ready for the bikini season! Yayyyy!
A great way to move from winter to spring fashion is by slowly incorporating bright colors and floral prints to it. For example, a good idea to start is by wearing colorful shoes or flats instead of wearing flip-flops, we’re not quite there yet. It’s also important to be creative when layering to create chic and stylish outfits. Change your khaki trench or black coat for a brighter jacket instead, for example. This season you will see a lot of flowers because the spring fashion trends 2018 are totally marked by them. Designers are incorporating all kind of these patterns in their designs. From soft, micro, and romantic floral prints, to big flowers and shapes with a 60’s vibes and vintage-inspired designs.
I’m wearing an amazing pair of floral pants, it was love at first sight. Their retro print and style immediately caught my attention. They have the perfect dose of femininity and bohemian vibes to add a fun touch to any spring ensemble. These flare pants are comfy and absolutely figure flattering. Thanks to their cut, you can show a more elongated silhouette. I paired them with a leather jacket on top, a key piece to create that edgy bohemian kind of look. My main idea when putting together this outfit is a bohemian style with a downtown vibe.

Ahora si empieza la cuenta regresiva para la primavera, 10, 9, 8, 7… Hace frio, hace calor, el siguiente dia calor nuevamente. Es como si el clima estuviera ajustandose por si solo a la estacion. Es el momento de guardar en el baul nuestros abrigos y chamarras pesadas y alistarnos para la temporada del bikini. ¡Siiii!
Una buena manera de lograr esa transicion de invierno a primavera es incorporando poco a poco colores vivos y estampados florales. Una idea para comenzar seria por ejemplo, llevar zapatos de color, zapatos bajos o flats. Ojo, no flip-flops, esperemos un poco mas para estos. Tambien es importante ser creativa con las capas que añadas a tu look para crear estilos originales. ¿Qué te parece cambiar tu gabardina khaki o abrigo negro por una chamarra colorida?
Preparate para ver muchas flores a tu alrededor esta temporada, ya que la tendencia primavera-verano esta muy marcada por estampados florales. Los grandes diseñadores estan incorporándolos en multiples versiones: desde diminutas y delicadas hasta grandes y de diferentes formas en estilo vintage y toque sesentero.
Para este look llevo unos pantalones acampanados, de verdad desde que los vi, fue amor a primera vista. Su estilo retro llamo de inmediato mi atencion. Cuentan con la dosis perfecta de femineidad y vibra bohemia, para dar un toque llamativo a cualquier combo primaveral. Son unos pantalones comodos y favorecedores a la silueta, gracias a su corte, el cual permite lucir una figura mas estilizada. Para la parte superior mi eleccion fue una chamarra de piel, la cual sirvio como pieza clave para dar esa aura edgy al estilo bohemio de mis pantalones.
