It’s time to pair cute spring outfits with vibrant pieces to welcome the season with the happiest mood. And of course, prints make a season, so it’s time to refresh your wardrobe or dive into it to find all of the garments with prints that will be on trend during this spring and summer season. Want to know my favorites. Here we go:
Animal Print:
I really love the animal print trend, it’s like adding a fierce and chic vibe to any combo. This print has been extremely popular during fall-winter. It’s great to see cheetah, zebra, snakeskin, etc, in a variety of colors, have their moment and still be favorites on the spring-summer 2109 trends list. So consider adding these patterns into your spring wardrobe and let your wild side explode!
Checks:
This season, you will see this pattern in tops, jackets, dresses and any kind of garment. The coolest thing is that it’s not only the traditional black and white, during spring-summer, colorful, small, big checks are also on point. Isn’t this pattern fun? They instantly add visual interest to any outfit, making it more creative. Play around this print and give life to the coolest spring outfits!
Floral:
Who can resist the charm of a floral print dress?! I am personally a fan of floral pieces, not only because they are very feminine, but they are more than appropriate to create cute spring outfits. But wait, what happens if feminine and girly is not your style? Don’t worry, because anyone can enjoy the floral print. You can pair your floral pieces with unexpected garments and make them more according to your personality and style. You can also choose the most vivacious and bright hues.

This is not only a fun way to express something without literally saying it, but it’s also a cool option to add a cool touch to your outfit. It could be from something silly to a polemic statement or a brand logo. Original creations are seen on the streets with this print trend.
Polka Dots:
Polka dots are still one of the strongest trends. I really love this pattern. Many designers are using dots in their collections: dresses, skirts, trousers, blazers, accessories etcetera, and in different colors, spot sizes… It is such a fun print that looks so chic, especially when pairing it with other prints, like stripes, animal print and of course flowers, to be on point for the season!
Stripes:
Vertical stripes, horizontal stripes, diagonal lines, wow! This season is all about stripes, they become like a neutral and you will see this pattern matched with any kind of garment. So stripes going in every direction is the way to go! You will also notice that baby stripes are booming in spring dresses and other pieces.
Ethnic:
Last but not least, we have ethnic patterns. They have been seen on the runways in many spectacular designs, adding that oriental touch to any look. Busy patterns are such a great element to bring visual interest and an exquisite, fun vibe to the most simple combo.
So, girl, it’s time for you to choose your favorites and refresh your spring wardrobe. Remember that it’s all about smart styling and of course in a budget. Just add a couple of pieces, and play around with the ones that you already have in your closet. Are they from a couple of seasons before? It doesn’t matter! Finalmente ha empezado a brillar el sol en San Diego, asi que el tiempo de irse deshaciendo poco a poco de esas capas y prendas pesadas de invierno ha llegado. Estampado Animal.
Me encanta este estampado, es como añadir ese toque salvaje y sobretodo chic a cualquir conjunto. El estampado animal, ha sido extremadamente popular durante el otoño-invierno. Es maravilloso apreciar los diseños en leopardo, zebra, piel de víbora y en variedad de colores. Sin duda estos, seguirán teniendo su momento durante esta primavera -verano 2019. Asi que considera incorporarlos en tu closet y saca tu lado slavaje! 🙂
Cuadros.
Esta temporada seguirás viendo el estampado de cuadros en blusas, chamarras, vestidos… Lo mejor de todo es que durante primavera- verano estarán muy presente los cuadros en todos los tamaños y colores. Suena divertido ¿no crees? Los cuadros, (checks) son un buen elemento para brindar interes visual a cualquier outfit, haciéndolo mas creativo. Asi que dale vida a este estampado para crear unos looks super cool!
Flores5
¿Quién puede resistirse a los encantos de un lindo vestido floreado? En lo personal amo las prendas con flores, no solo porque son femeninas sino porque en primavera resultan apropiadas para crear lindos look. Pero un momento, ¿que pasa si mi estilo no es femenino? No te preocupes, porque cualquiera puede llevar y adaptar flores de acuerdo a su personalidad y estilo. Puedes combinar una prenda de flores abstractas, por ejemplo, con prendas inesperadas o también puedes llevar flores en tonos super vibrantes y llamativos.
Palabras.
Esta no es tan solo una manera divertida de expresar algo sin necesariamente decirlot. Es también una buena opción de dar un toque unico a tu look. Las prendas pueden llevar implicito algo chistoso, o una declaración polémica, o el logo de alguna marca, etcetera. Se ven por las calles, creaciones muy originales con este tipo de estampado.
Lunares.
El estampado de lunares, puntos o mejor conocido como polka dots continúa muy en tendencia. Muchos diseñadores los han incorporado en sus colecciones, tanto en faldas, vestidos, pantalones, etcétera. Al igual que en variedad de colores y tamaños. Son divertidos y se ven muy chic, especialmente al ser combinados con otros estampados como rayas, animal print y desde luego flores para estar a tono con la primavera.
Rayas.
Rayas verticales, rayas horizontales, rayas diagonales, wow! Esta temporada es todo sobre estampado de rayas, las cuales se estan convirtiendo como un neutro, ya que lucen bien con casi todo tipo de combinación. También notarás que las rayas muy angostas o baby stripes tendrán fuerte impacto en vestidos primaverales y otras prendas. Asi que recuerda que las rayas en cualquier dirección son la tocada.
Etnico.
Y por último, sin dejar de ser menos importante, tenemos el estampado étnico. Este se aprecia en las pasarelas en originales y unicas creaciones, añadiendo un toque un poco oriental muchas veces al conjunto. Este tipo de estampado aporta un gran elemento visual que proporciona una vibra divertida hasta el mas simple conjunto.
Asi que elige tus estampados favoritos y actualiza tu guardarropa de primavera-verano. Recuerda que se trata de crear conjuntos inteligentes y sobre todo que se ajusten a nuestro presupuesto. Complementa tu armario con un par de prendas que te hagan falta y juega con elllas en torno a las que ya tengas. ¿Son de un par de temporadas atrás? No importa!
