Hope you are having a fabulous week. As you probably noticed, if you have been following me for a while, my style is feminine. Let’s say that I could define my personal style in three words, feminine, chic and clean. But I always like to add touches or mix different elements to add visual interest to my looks. Pastels are amazing and they look great during spring-summer and combining them with black can work really well. If you are one of those girls who feel like pastels will make you look like cotton candy, avoid mixing them with white or soft tones. How about going dramatic with black to create a bold statement with contrast instead?
I love this blazer, flirty and feminine, so versatile because it’s a wear-with-everything piece and if paired with black, it looks fresh with a hint of edgy. A little bold and daring.
If you don’t feel comfortable with the high-contrast or the black tends to look too much grungy, you can simply add a white, silver or light grey accent to your outfit. It will help to soften the palette.
And believe me, when wearing pastels with black you’re playing it safe because this beautiful match-making of soft and modern never goes out of style!

Espero estes disfrutando de una maravillosa semana. Como lo habrás notado, si es que me sigues de tiempo atrás mi estilo es por lo general un tanto femenino. Digamos que si tuviera que definirlo en tres palabras: femenino, chic y limpio.
Eso si, me encanta añadir toques o mezclar diferentes elementos para agregar interés visual a mis conjuntos. Los tonos pasteles son increíbles especialmente durante primavera -verano y al combinarlos con negro se obtiene un armonioso resultado.
Si eres una de esas chicas que siente que el vestir con tonos pasteles te hará lucir como algodón de azúcar, te recomiendo evitar mezclarlos con blanco o colores tenues. Mejor inclínate por el negro, un tono dramático que brindará un buen contraste dando como resultado un conjunto llamativo.
Me encanta este saco tan femenino y coqueto, es muy versátil, ya que es una de esas piezas que se puede llevar con todo y mezclada con el negro luce fresco con un toque un tanto edgy, atrevido. Si no te sientes cómoda con el contraste, o consideras que el negro luce demasiado dramático, te recomiendo añadir acentos en blanco, plata o gris suave. Estos lograrán atenuar la paleta de color.
Créeme que al mezclar tonos pasteles con el negro irás a lo seguro porque esta linda mezcla entre lo suave y lo moderno siempre lucirá con mucho estilo.
