My best wishes for this 2015! Lots of love and health. Some of you have been asking me about some of my activities or habits to achieve health and fitness. So that’s why I decided to share with you some of my lifestyle tips.
I know after the holiday season it is hard to stay in good shape, because of all the celebration, drinks and delicious food, but you know what? It’s worth it. Now it’s time to achieve a lifestyle that promotes wellness so you can feel and look extraordinary. It doesn’t matter if you are 20, 30, 40, 50… It’s never too late to start forming good habits and to choose health.
A good first step is to examine your diet. Trust me, food is medicine. If you eat too much of the wrong foods, you will negatively impact not only your health but also your appearance. But by eating lots of healthy fruits and vegetables and sticking to lean protein, you will feel and look better as well as increase longevity and avoid illness.
Check out the following points and try to incorporate them as a part of your nutrition:
●It’s not about being on a diet all the time or counting all the calories you eat. It’s a lifestyle. We’ve all heard the saying “You are what you eat.”
●Avoid sodas ( too much sugar) it’s better to choose sparkling water, unsweetened coffee or tea. The juices also have sugar, it doesn’t matter if they’re natural. If you want to lose weight and you are a juice lover, drink one daily and try to add a little water.
●Drink at least 1 glass of water before each meal, it will help the digestion process and your body will eliminate calories. Also you will feel satisfied and avoid eating more food than your body needs.
●Eat all the vegetables you want. At least 2 cups with your lunch and your dinner. These gives enormous benefits to your body, trust me, your skin will be flawless and glowing.
●In the evening pay special attention to what you have for dinner. And avoid going to sleep just after your meal. It’s good to wait between one or two hours, to let the digestion process work better.
●For dinner forget about bread, pasta, rice… It’s better eat protein and all the vegetables youwant. Could be chicken with melted cheese, panela or fresh cheese is better, tomate sauce (parmigiana chicken) or fish, turkey with tons of vegetables if you want. These choices will help make you feel satisfied for a long time.
● Try exercising as a lifestyle instead of just a sacrifice, if you do it at least three times a week you will see gigantic benefits. Physically you will look better, in shape and your body will be more oxygenated to give you improved well being and prevent illness.
