BOHO VIBES // CASUAL KIMONO
Hello loves, hope you’re having a great week after the long weekend. In San Diego the weather is totally crazy, you never know what to expect because these days are literally sunny and chilly in a continuous pattern. So in the end, you can’t have your outfits planned out in advance because you don’t know how the next day will be unless you check the weather forecast and get an idea on what the week will be like.
I want to share a look that I wore last week, it was one of those days when it was not cold enough so there was no need to bundle up. Let me tell you that I normally build my looks according to my mood. So on that day I woke up with an idea in mind to wear comfy clothes, so I chose my flare jeans, which are one of my favorites. I wore them with a white tank, but it was kind of simple and of course it wasn’t warm enough to keep the outfit like that, so I decided to enhance the entire look by incorporating this colorful and casual kimono.
When I stood up in front of the mirror to see how it looked, I seriously loved the boho and 70’s vibes that this attire reflected. I love it!I noticed that this piece totally caught attention, because I received lots of compliments regarding this long kimono. If you are thinking that women’s kimono aren’t versatile, you are wrong, because you can always take advantage of it. You can pair it with almost everything, and it looks absolutely great by wearing it as a bathing suit cover up. Since we are in winter, it’s better to wear it with jeans or any kind of pants, on top of a turtle neck or a plain tee, to let this garment be the focal or center piece. But when the weather begins to cooperate, women’s kimono paired with shorts looks so chic.
Check this idea here. And of course, for all of you who are thinking about attending any music festivals such as Coachella, kimono clothing always rocks! More inspirations on how to wear this piece? You can also check out this look.
Thank you so much and enjoy the rest of your week!
Love,
