How to Give Your Eyes a Glamorous Look

You know how much I love sharing beauty products that I normally use on a current basis along with the new ones that I’ve tested. I recently tried a good option to enhance your eyes, giving them extra attention. I’m talking about false eyelashes and let me tell you that I’m kind of loving them! It’s a fact that they have been popular forever, but to be honest, for me, they were the kind of accessory only for special occasions. Nowadays false lashes are booming, however, they used to be kind of tricky to put on at first, and they seem a bit dramatic for me since I wasn’t used to them.

Let me tell you that I tried lash extensions, once. The idea of having full and long lashes 24 hours a day sounded amazing. In the end, despite the fact that they look super cute, giving a beautiful pop to the eyes, they weren’t the best option for me. I have sensitive eyes and I felt uncomfortable with them, it was like constantly having something inside of my eyes and the idea of not removing my make up or washing my face the way I normally do was not the best for me. Sometimes I forgot that I was wearing the eyelash extensions so I’d rub my eyes, which caused them to fall off along with my natural lashes. But don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that lash extensions are not good, it’s simply that this procedure is not the right one for me and my lifestyle. So the false eyelashes are a great option. I realized that they are actually pretty amazing once you warm to their charm, and to be honest, they have become one of my beauty allies to complement my make up and give my eyes extra attention.

I just received 2 sets of 3D mink lashes from Private Label Extensions. When I first took a look into their site, I was surprised with the huge variety to choose from. There are lengths and styles according to your preference, occasion, etcétera.

The most important thing for me when looking for a pair of lashes is the natural and realistic look. I personally love those that add fullness and length to my natural lashes without looking super dramatic.

So I chose the Toronto and New York style from the 3D Mink Thinline collection. Both are 100% mink which made them more flutter and natural with a realistic finish. They are 100% hand crafted, definitely luxurious lashes at an accessible price. I decided to wear the New York style to make my eyes stand out. They are glamorous and give me gorgeous, perfectly separated, and lucious lashes. These are perfect!

I really love the result with the way they make me feel, confident and more glamorous. I will be using the other set I chose, the Toronto style, pretty often, they are great for an every day look.

How to Make your False Lashes Last Long?

Always use your tweezers to remove them from their case or packaging. Be gentle, and avoid pulling hard, you don’t want to break them!
Since the false lashes are not made one size fits all, you need to customize them to your eyes. After measuring them, trim them from their outer edge. If you cut them from the shorter edge or inner corner they will lose their shape.
Always apply mascara before putting on your falsies. If you want to add one coat after applying them, just to connect them with your natural lashes, that’s ok, but avoid applying too much.
After removing your false lashes, don’t forget to clean off the excess glue. You can use your fingers or tweezers to get rid of it it. Use a qtip soaked in makeup remover to remove the mascara. And put them in their case when they’re completely clean so they’ll be ready for the next application.

So girl, whether you want to simply add a pop to your natural look or add a glamorous red carpet finish, these falsies are beyond perfect to enhance your eyes. Wear them and just let your eyes speak for themselves!
